Uh...10000, according to MSNBC, who got that from the police.

There are over 2000 events being held nationwide today.

Do you have a clue what you are talking about?

The Tax Foundation - Tax Research Areas > Texas
Texas taxpayers receive less federal funding per dollar of federal taxes paid compared to the average state.

I was not taxation the “patriots†were protesting but government protected trade. Now if the current Tea Party protesters were protesting the credit card companies usurious rates or the bankers paying huge bonuses with government money they would be doing something useful. As they seem to be protesting the government helping the destitute they are doing nothing but expressing their selfishness and hidden racism.
Under the equal protection under the law provision of the Constitution, the government shouldn't be helping destitute people any more or less than billionaires.

Since when did selfishness become a vice. Everyone cares about themselves first., and since when did destitute become a race.

MSNBC did not get that number from the police, as I posted earlier and also on anther thread. The Boston police don't do crowd estimates.

LOL!

The Associated Press: Tea Party Express returns to its roots in Boston

A crowd of up to 1,000 assembled in the early morning sunshine on Boston Common, just across town from Boston Harbor, where the original Tea Party occurred in 1773.

AP's earlier story is below.

A crowd of up to 10,000 was forecast Wednesday for Boston Common, just across town from Boston Harbor, where the original Tea Party occurred in 1773 among colonists upset about British taxation without government representation.

Maybe they are working today to pay for the increasing taxes.

The guy on the ground from MSNBC said the police TOLD him approximately 10,000 attended.

Of course, you'd rather take an AP report instead. What makes the AP report more credible than the LIVE MSNBC report with an "unofficial" count from the police? At first the AP said 1000 and then when it was apparent that number wouldn't pass the smell test, they upped it. The AP, like you, are interested in spinning the number, for some odd reason.

Sorry, EPIC fail.

So desperate to short the numbers, aren't you?
