The Tea Party express expected 10,000 people in Boston today, got "up to" 1000!

LOL!

The Associated Press: Tea Party Express returns to its roots in Boston

A crowd of up to 1,000 assembled in the early morning sunshine on Boston Common, just across town from Boston Harbor, where the original Tea Party occurred in 1773.

AP's earlier story is below.

A crowd of up to 10,000 was forecast Wednesday for Boston Common, just across town from Boston Harbor, where the original Tea Party occurred in 1773 among colonists upset about British taxation without government representation.

CNN reported that "dozens or hundreds" of people showed up in Searchlight a few weeks ago. When I showed up, I had to park two miles away from the event, because cars were lining both sides of the highway.

I don't put much weight on what the attendee numbers the MSM tosses around, for obvious reasons. They've been failing in every way to provide honest coverage of the movement - why would they start now?

I did a google search and I found a lot of articles that claim that CNN said that, but no articles of CNN actually saying that.

In San Antonio,
last year they had media conspiracy theorist super star Glenn Beck at the Alamo (most visited tourist spot in Texas)

Now, they don't have Foxnews support ($$$$$)
so they are going to do it at a Pavilion in a small city park.

And the Boston Police earlier estimated the crowd at 10,000.

So, tell me, what number is 'good for Boston'..a moderate size city in one of the most liberal states? What's the magic number that will convince you that this is a movement that has teeth? I'm guessing about 1 more than the highest reported.

Hey, don't shoot the messenger!

Obama drew 100,000 in a conservative place like Denver.

It seems to me, that those people were there to see Wasilla Barbie, that's why she was there.

A little irony...

"John Killion, a US Postal Service worker from South Boston, one of the other Tea Partiers in the group, said he thought the counterdemonstrator "was in pretty poor taste. Their space is never invaded."
