Simply amazing. Even seeing the videos with your own eyes, seeing the protesters on the gate, seeing the police moving the press back out of range, you will deny and try to come up with some ridiculous spin to absolve the WH in this unprecedented breach of a free press.

How low can the obama apologists go?

Do you think if there were a bomb thread, we would have heard about it?

Please, stop embarrassing yourself.

I'm curious how the OP knows the White House had anything to do with this? All I saw was one policeman.

Once again an imaginary (made up by you) excuse for the actions instigated by this administration.

How do we know that you are not on the payroll of the white house?

If there were a bomb threat there it would have been all over the news

Let's see....it was at the white house (so they had to know about it)

It was protesting a policy that Obama is continuing (and admittedly did not start)

It is embarrassing to this president to not be adored by any liberal group (gays predominently liberal)

I can see why you would be curious

Pathetic. Lafayette Park is under Park Police jusrisdiction. The White House and Secret Service have nothing to do with it. Incidents on the fence are covered by Park Police protocol, but the guy on the scene didn't follow it. He initially moved everybody out of the area, including persons who were credentialed WH press. This error was corrected in the time it took to place a cell phone call -- a few minutes -- after which a press area was established and credentialed press were allowed across police lines. This story is just more over-spin by Ben Smith, a reporter who frequently engages in such...

White House Press Corps Shut Out By DADT Protest; Mark Knoller Intercedes | Mediaite
The protest follows President Obama’s engagement of LGBT rights protesters at a fundraiser last night.
In a disturbing wrinkle, the police closed off the scene to the press for a time, and Mediaite has confirmed that this included White House reporters.I checked with Park Police Officer Terry Felt, and he said that by the time he was on the scene, a press area had been set up, and that it was not procedure to, push the press back like that. He was unaware that it had happened.
It should be noted that I called the Secret Service Uniformed Division, and they confirmed that they had nothing to do with this action, that Park Police are responsible for the area in question. This was a transparency issue, to be sure, but not with the White House
<yeah right, so who gave the order. if the park police officer didn't give the order and the secret service didn't give the order, then who gave the initial order to force the press away from the White House where the protest was happening. My personal opinion, someone in the White House sent the order to the police and didn't back down until the members of the press didn't simply cave in to the abuse of power methods. Once the press reporters began making phone calls to their offices, that's when the administration realized they had a negative situation on their hands and backed down>
