Israel= Terrorist state. This thread is about a "terrorist" who was set free because he is dying. So both things have something to do with terrorists.

Not sure why the liberals get credit for this. Im one and I say let him die in jail as I suspect most do as well. I offer as much sympathy to him as he had for those on the flight.

Nope because they are freedom fighters. IRA is fighting for Ireland at least the rest of it. Basque Separatists were fighting for their own country between France and Spain.

I am sorry, but neither the founding fathers nor the continental army specifically targeted civilian buildings during their campaign or during the lead up to the war. In fact founding father John Adams defended British soldiers in court after the Boston massacre rather then just stringing them up as the Israelis did in the sargeants affair.

You do realize that when tax collectors for the king were tarred and feathered, they usually died, becaues the tar is incredibly hot and toxic???

When did Israel target civilians?

King David Hotel was british military HQ...

Tarring an feathering was not something done by an organized resistance group, but rather by rioters and mobs...The revolutionary government did not plan or execute tarring and feathering. Contrast that with Irgun, an organized "group" that organized, the King David Hotel bombing, The Sargeants affair, and Deir Yassin where 107 villagers, including women and children were killed only 11 armed villagers were found among the dead, but this is going off topic.

First of all, as someone else pointed out, the hotel was British Military Headquarters.

Beyond that, you're own link states that:
"Warning phone calls had been made urging the hotel’s occupants to leave immediately. For reasons known only to the British the hotel was not evacuated and after 25 minutes the bombs exploded, and to the Irgun’s regret and dismay 91 persons were killed."
Since when do "terrorists" attempt to evacuate their target?

Also, the Irgun was a relatively small group.

Yea, it is off topic but you've been running with it.

This will be my last post here since it is off topic.

The article says "Mr McDonald (British Ambassador in Tel Aviv) and Dr. Jenkins (British Consul General in Jerusalem) denied that the British had ever been warned, adding even if they had "That does not dissolve those who planted the bomb of the responsibility for the deaths.""

Even then only 28/92 killed were British citizens. The vast majority of those killed were staff and guests. Besides that Terrorism is still terrorism, was the Oklahoma city bombing not terrorism because of the fact that several federal law enforcement agencies were based out of the Murrah building?
