Not so telling as this post is with regard to your reading skills. Meanwhile, the average Congressional district has more than 700,000 people in it. Do you suppose that none are the most stupid among those, and that from that group, none will show up to deliver some idiot rant at your townhall meeting?

Don't expect racism to be so in-your-face about itself. Have you asked yourself yet why pictures of the 15 Representatives who voted for the pay raise were included in the OP? What information pertinent to the actual topic do they convey? None. None at all. The only message that they carry is RACE and one after another, people fell right for it. You think you're not racist? I don't know you, but I wouldn't be so sure. Might want to think some things through for just a bit...

Wait wait wait, just because the OP posted pictures of the 15 members who voted for a pay raise does not make him racist. Just because someone stated the obvious that 13/15 of them are colored does not make anyone racist here. I think you're a bit quick to call someone a racist, just because I hate Obama does not make me racist. He could be white and I would still hate him.

Ding-dong. Under the law, the pay raise goes into effect automatically unless Congress votes to reject it. The vote to reject has to be scheduled through the Democratoc House leadership to get to the floor. The vote was 402-15 for rejection. There are only 177 Republicans in the House. Do the math...

What responsibility do you have that is 1/37,826th as important as what Congress deals with every day? Has your boss asked you to rescue any global economies lately? How about coming up with a plan to reorganize health insurance for 307 million people...is that in your performace plan? Dealing with any Israeli/Palestinian conflicts after lunch today? How about Iran or North Korea? How about all of those at the same time and then ten times more?

How about these "servants" "represent" their consituents by being paid the average income of those that they are supposed to represent?

Gee, I thought you were going to provide some examples of all those Congresspersons demanding that police and teachers and the like lose their jobs or see their salaries slashed, but you didn't do that. Why not??? Don't you have any examples of that???

Oh the poor little tyrants...I know, maybe they should get paid from voluntary donations made by their constituents. If they did a bang up job, I am sure they could make a fortune from all of the happy people. But if they wound up being the petty little thieves and thugs that they are, they would adequately "rewarded" for their efforts. Hmmm, might be onto something here.

They definitely should have to serve a day in the stocks in public after their terms though....judged by their peers for a day

Do you understand what a stupid question that is? But go ahead. Tell me what the CEO of freaking AT&T does that makes him worth 184 times what a Congressman is worth. What issues and problems does he grapple with that come even close to what Congress deals with? There is no comparison.
