Too bad we have visitors in a couple of weeks that love Golden Corral. Also if you go to Pollo please do not look at how the food is prepared. We all have to die of something. The food is good though.

I saw on tcpalm that a new company was coming to PSL and that Mayor F was unveiling the name at 2pm today. Has anyone heard what company it is?

The big announcement was the Tesla Motors is opening a charging station in SLW. Looks like the TCPalm jumped the gun and the story that indicated a new business would be coming to town was updated to indicate Tesla Charging Stations were coming to town instead.

Well, the TCPalm (which I can't read because I won't pay for) has an article about a proposed truck stop on Kanner and i-95. Never fear though, I found the Martin County Development Review.

TCPalm: Area residents rally against proposed truck stop at Kanner Highway and I-95 near Stuart » TCPalm.com

Development Review: http://www.martin.fl.us/web_docs/Dev...and_Master.pdf

So apparently the lot was supposed to be a 4 story hotel and restaurant but property owners want a Truck Stop instead. The truck stop proposal would include 8 islands for truck fueling and parking for 85 trucks. It would be located at 8100 SW Jack James Dr.

Phase 1:
Gas Station with 16 Fueling Stations (cars)
RV Pump-Out
85-space Truck Stop
8 Fueling Stations (trucks)
Scale
9,689 sf Building including
3,804 sf Convenience Store
3,230 SF Truckers Facilities
2,655 sf Convenience Restaurant w/ Drive-Thru

Phase 2:
8,000 sf Sit-Down Restaurant

Ok Ruffy- got you some investigating to do. The old gas station is being removed from the Target parking lot in Jensen on US1. I would love to know what is going to replace it. Let's see how good ole detective Ruffy is!! LOL!

Not very many orders that are too tall SeetheUSA. Here you go.

The property owner and the contract purchaser request is for minor revised final site plan approval for an in-line shop consisting of a jewelry store (retail) and dentist office (medical office) on 1.058 acres. The property is located at 2648 NW Federal Highway, Jensen Beach, FL and is the location of the former Chevron gas station, which is to be demolished. 8,998 square feet.

Here's a link: http://www.martin.fl.us/web_docs/Dev...ment_Final.pdf

Upon further research I was able to find that Aspen Dental and Jared Jewelers, specifically, will be the tenants.

I was also able to find an outline of the proposed structure here: http://www.fdllc.com/pdf_under_devel...uart_flyer.pdf

The one on Rt.1 south of Port St. Lucie Blvd. is pretty good. Where else can u go and have unlimited prime rib and shrimp for about 15 bucks. Not too good for someone on a diet though.
