I think the bottom line here is whether or not you wanted a TJs you got one.
But there are only so many people here and they only consume so much. The more competition for your food $ the less others make.

It's very clear from the o/p's post that s/he means Prescott's got an overabundance of "eager youths or people who prefer to work part time." City-Data forums are not the grammar or usage police.

Sure thing. Today is not a vocabulary day for me. It went right overhead.

Be well.

By mid 2012 we will have 3 Wal-Mart's, all within 5 miles of each other. A Costco, Sams Club and TJ all within 5 miles of each other. Not to mention the Safeway's and Fry's. I just don't see how they can all survive in such a small populated area.

There are WalMarts that "fail" but being such a large chain, the remaining ones take up the slack from the bad ones. They rarely will close one down.

I think TJ will make it but it will negatively impact the smaller stores in town as well as the WM's and Costco. One thing is for sure, we surely don't have a short supply of food stores to choose from.

Tourists (whether drive-thru or visiting or camping) are all part of the buying population.

The reason (a lot of) Walmarts let RV's stay in their parking lots for a night is because those over-nighters shop. And buy gas.
