I prefer Collinsworth or Aikmen over Gruden as the color....

And Al Michaels is the best play by play guy hands down...

Man, do I miss Monday Night Football when it was Michaels, Gifford and even Dierdorf. Michaels/Madden also. Meredith was always fun too.
I liked the Michaels/Madden team. Were you watching the game when Madden cut the turducken in half with his hand?

I like Collinsworth but I think he believes he could play every position on the field better than the guys on the field.

I would probably like Aikman more if I were a Cowboys fan and didn't notice the strong "homer" undertones.

I agree, Gruden is the only one I like on the current MNF crew. Michaels/Madden was my favorite. John Madden always made me laugh with some of the comments he would make. Here's a Madden gem...."If you see a defensive team with dirt and mud on their backs, they've had a bad day"..lol.

I really don't like Gruden as an analyst either.

I think Aikman is too hard on the Cowboys personally... But I'm a Cowboys fan so maybe its just me.

He's hard on Romo for sure. It cracks me up when he says things like "I don't think this guy understands what it means to play quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys" on live, nationwide broadcast television as though he were speaking to his wife in his living room.

Meredith, Gifford, and Cosell set the bar too high for everyone else. They all suck compared to that trio.

"Cept for Madden/Summerall.

Is Pat still doing Cowboys' home games?

I agree with the original group.

Madden was good but ranted on far too much to a point of getting boring.

Gruden gives us all insight to the game and how it is suppose to be played like no one else I can remember.
