I support the NC State alumni so I'm a Philip Rivers fan. I also like L.T. as well, he's my favorite current running back. Anyway, has the Chargers time passed them? They had a grand opportunity in 2007 but lost at home to New England, and they had a nice run last year but couldnt make it to Arizona. Is this the year they make a statement? or will they crash and burn?

they are going to the super bowl. no doubt. with stan humphries and natrone means..........wait, I am looking at my notes from 1995. seriously though, I think they need a healthy merriman to anchor that defense. also, gates needs to get back to form.

I think this year will be the last chance for SD to get to a Super Bowl for awhile. LT, J Williams are both getting up there in age. They're likely to show their age after this season.
Knees can be a tricky thing, having had both of mine carved up many moons back. Rivers should be ready to go. Now, about his mouth. OK, now for Ladanian. If he stays healthy, I honestly think he could be in the position to break Emmit Smith's rushing record. Regarding Shawn Merriman, he should do the reconstruction. If he goes and screws up that knee more, well, I wouldn't anyway. The Chargers should make it back to the AFC Championship anyway, either against the Colts or the Pats. But watch out for Jacksonville!
