Not crazy about the choreographed celebrations.... i notice one team not indulging.. the Patriots.. that should tell you something... no nonsense wins out every time! While other teams are practicing their new 'row row row your boat' TD celebration.. the Patriots and working the Xs and Os.. I prefer the Xs and Os personally.

I will add that the celebrations to date, do not appear in any way to be upstaging or insulting the other team. Quite the contrary... its just silly, goofing off.. which is a good thing i suppose. No reason for the other team to get upset with a team animating a bowling alley STRIKE after a TD.. I would be willing to bet that MOST coaches would probably prefer they didn't do it..

For those that are against the celebrations....

do you dislike them to the point where you did/would stop watching NFL football?

no...
But I will say that i think the NFL has peaked and is on its way back down. Just like all major sports.. they ebb and flow... IMO, aside from the constant every day negative attention the NFL gets.. its the over saturation of the product that is causing most of the ratings dip. IMO.. 24x7x365 is too much NFL...

I'm not saying the NFL is going to collapse and no longer be a viable Professional sports league.. i am saying that they may never reach the heights of popularity they were at just a few years ago...

I think you're right. I'm not in the ballpark where the NFL is going away, but I do think it will level off, not climb higher.

Are the celebrations too much?
They're pretty tame for now, but everything eventually gets pushed and taken to the limit.

When they begin climbing the goal post and uprights, and swinging from the crossbar...
