Ravens are who the Chiefs should really be concerned about in the AFC picture. Mid January weather in KC can be brutal. Ravens look like the best cold weather team to face the Chiefs. Forget about the Patriots, KC is like kryptonite to them.
Not getting on the Colts bandwagon either. No team has ever started 1-5 and advanced to the SB. Titans didn’t play well last week, and made the Colts look way better than they really are.
People keep bringing up the recent win-loss record of the Chiefs. They were within one first down of beating the Chargers and lost by only one point. In fact, all of the Chiefs 4 losses have been close games.
But 5 of the Chiefs wins have also been 1-score games. So in 9 1-score games the Chiefs played they're 5-4. The Chiefs definitely ran away with their fair share of games this year, but it's not like they had 4 close losses and 12 decisive to blowout wins. And if you look at the three teams that form the pool of potential Chiefs opponents in the divisional round each of them appear capable of going in and putting together the right combination of offensive and defensive effort to stay close to the Chiefs. Each of those offenses pose threats to the Chiefs defense. Each of those defenses are capable of getting just enough stops to keep it close.
The good news for the Chiefs is they do have a good home field advantage. That hasn't helped them in recent playoff games but it's a new playoff season this year. And they have an offense that is more capable than any they've had in team history. That could put the pressure on an opponent. Then again, they were up 21-3 last year to a Titans team that lacked offensive firepower and still managed to lose that one. All 3 of the potential opponents they'll face have decent to top-tier offenses. Whoever the matchup ends up being, it'll be a good game.
Houston-you have a problem. The problem is Andrew Luck------15 for 20 for 183 yards in the first half. Colts up 21-zip. I thought Houston would catch a spark when JJ Watt tipped a pass and Houston got a pick. The Colts defense are not giving the Texans much. I missed the first couple minutes of this game--don't know who gets the ball for the second half--if it's the Colts and they get another score, that could be it for Houston. The Texans coaching staff is coming to question on the 4th and 1 on the Colts 10 yd. line w/ 1:20 left in the half. A bad way to walk into the clubhouse at the half.

Looks like the Houston defense has woken up in the second half. The offense, not so much. Go Colts!
Why in the world not get 3 points on the board or if you insist on going for the 4th and 1 have a simple play to use. A throw there wasn't a sure thing. I thought this game would be closer.
