Points to my initial thoughts that I suspected he wasn't in a right state of mind.
And Ketemine in his blood. Horse tranq.
Kinda confused about the alcohol one taking so long to come out. I suppose just to wait and make things 'official' with the tox results.. But, they pretty much knew about the alcohol when they picked his body up.
Thought I would have seen a post on this but anybody else HATE the name of the new stadium? It sounds to me like a pregnancy, diabetes, etc. test.
As a Browns fan, I respect the Steeler history. Three Rivers was a cool name. Heinz Field wasn't bad because we all know who Heinz is and understand corporate sponsorship.
We're the Rooney's that hard up for sponsorship? With Pittsburgh being such an historic team, I'm surprised they couldn't have done better...maybe even for less money. (Acrisure is paying nearly 4x more than Heinz per year, $10 million instead of $2.85M)
Will the average fan even know what Acrisure means? I'll probably just call it Steelers Stadium or something when talking to others.
Former Pittsburgh Steelers running back and Pro Football Hall of Fame member Franco Harris has died. He was 72. Harris’ death comes just days before the 50th anniversary of the Steelers’ 50th anniversary celebration of the “Immaculate Reception.” Harris made one of the most iconic plays in NFL history on Dec. 23, 1972 against the Raiders when he swooped in and grabbed a pass from Terry Bradshaw intended for John Fuqua before it hit the ground. After grabbing the ball, Harris ran it in for a game-winning touchdown with just seconds left in the fourth quarter. The Steelers won that divisional playoff game 13-7 before losing the AFC title game to the undefeated Miami Dolphins. Harris’ son Dok told the Associated Press that his father had passed away overnight and that a cause of death was not immediately known. With the Raiders visiting Pittsburgh on Saturday night, the Steelers are having a ceremony to honor Harris’ play at halftime of the game. Harris’ iconic No. 32 is also set to be retired by the team.
Not a Steelers fan but I recognize greatness. One of the greatest to play the game.

While defense was the main attraction of all those great 70s Steelers teams, you can’t watch a highlight video from that time without seeing Franco. He embodied and set the standard for Pittsburgh running football we have seen outlive many of us. May he rest in power.
This sat (christmas eve) game in pittsburgh VS the raiders is gonna be good but freeezing. Both teams wont make the playoffs so its mainly for pride game. Pitts is 6-8 with only 3 games left. One more loss & tomlin will have his first losing season since he became the head coach. This sat will also be the 50th anniversary of the immaculate reception with ceremonies planned. It is sad franco harris died a few days ago. RIP.

Yeah I totally agree with you. Acrisure Stadium is an absolutely stupid name. I don't even call it that and I grew up in the Pittsburgh area, lol.
