Why would Snyder sell the team? He is already rich, so he doesnt need any money. Plus the skins are making him money. Remember they are the third highest grossing sports franchise in the WORLD!
Support the skins from your living room, only way to do it. If Snyder makes no money from over priced hot dogs, beer, jerseys and Johnny rockets, then he will take notice. The only way to hurt a ego maniac like Snyder is to hit 'em where it hurts...In his wallet
It's all relative. Rich to us but the sky is the limit to schmo's like Snyder. But many of Snyders ventures are tanking including Six Flags and Tom Cruise movies in which Snyder is the executive producer. Many of his flunkies, including Vinny, are heavy investors in Snyders businesses. Now, I see a big difference with the failing Skins than before Gibbs arrived 5 years ago. Most everyone now understands the structure of this organization and realize that generations will go by before a winning team is seen here once again. It's all a package deal, delivered to Snyder: Bycott all games and products, voice your oppinion to sell or move the team, leaving its legacy behind forced by court order, filed in the courts by the fans. Keep heavy pressure and malcontent fan noice in his ear so at the very least the ******* will honestly hire a good GM and coach.
Let's hope that Allen ends up being an improvement and not another step backward. The team has a lot of needs not the least of which is the O-line. If Allen can manage to bolster that unit for next season he will have already succeeded.
This is great news!! Just to have a football guy running the show and not some billionaire idiot is a good start. I don't expect them to win the Superbowl but maybe they can gain some respect back and not be the laughing stock of the NFL not just on the field but with their signings and other stuff off the field.
X-Greensboro Resident is right. The Redskins are on the right track with his hiring, so long as the owner stays out of the picture and lets him run the football operations. Hiring John Gruden? It's possible, Gruden is young, I think he is hungry for a head coaching job.
Bruce Allen was a Sr. Executive for the Oakland Raiders and GM of the post-Super Bowl Tampa Bay Bucs. Appears to me that Danny Boy is bringing in another "name." I'm not impressed...
What I like about Bruce Allen is he's the son of George Allen, a great Redskin legacy. The downside for me is Bruce Allen was under the thumb of another micro managing owner Al Davis.
