Out of all the teams left in the playoff..The cities of Seattle & Cincinnati are most deserving. Although im not sure which NFC game would be more interesting Saints v. Panthers or Seahawks v. Niners....

Why would Cincinnati be one of the most deserving ahead of say a team like the Chargers?

It's a good question. The Chargers rolled to a 4-0 finish to reach 9-7 and while they needed help down the stretch and even caught a few breaks, you cannot argue they didn't do their part to win and get in.
With that said, I am always very careful about use of the word "deserving" as it conveys a sense of entitlement. I use it sparingly in just about everything, from football to social issues. No team is "deserving" of anything other than a cleanly played and called game. The Chargers have a legit shot, as does every remaining playoff team. The Chiefs and Eagles had a legit shot, but the Colts and Saints had a say in the outcome as well.

Seahawks vs Niners. To be the best you gotta beat the best...

That's right. There's a lot of teams "deserving" of a title.. 44% of the leagues 32 teams have not won the Super Bowl.
The latest knock on the Seahawks by the 49er fans is all that noise from the 12th man is just the sound echoing off the empty trophy case. LOL

I am always intrigued at the thought of teams like the Seahawks, Chargers, Bengals, Eagles, and Panthers in the playoffs. These teams have all been to Super Bowls but lost. There are a few teams that have never even been to a Super Bowl. With so many teams who have not yet won the big one still in the field, it's possible we'll see one of them playing for their first Lombardi Trophy this year.
I personally am pulling for a Seahawks-Broncos Super Bowl. But when it comes right down to it, I'm really just pulling for an anyone-Broncos Super Bowl.

SEA/DEN is what I'd like to see as well. Seattle hasn't faced an offense like Denver and I really wonder if they could stop Manning... I already know the Seahawks can't keep up in a shootout so we wouldn't see a 38-35 game. Maybe 38-14 though... The only way Seattle would win would be shutting Manning down and it being a 14-10 game.
I don't know if they can... What's the lowest output by Denver this season? 27 points?
Both teams have to get there first though... SF/CAR are both teams that match up well with the Seahawks... and the Cardinals have already proved winning in Seattle is possible.
As for Denver... same thing. They still have IND/NE even CIN...

We'll see.
Denver's lowest point total was 20 in a 27-20 loss to the Chargers in Denver. And their lowest point total surrendered was 13 against the Houston Texans. While the Broncos defense is not as horrible as many believe it to be, they have never fully taken over a game. In most games they played they were good enough to force 3 or 4 consecutive punts, forced a turnover, etc. But they never really took over a game and owned it from bell to bell. So I expect every team they play in the playoffs to be able to score at least 20 on them, which is actually not bad in today's NFL. In a hypothetical Seattle-Denver Super Bowl I would expect it to be close. Broncos 34, Seahawks 30. Something like that. And it would not surprise me at all if that score were flipped, as the Seahawks are a solid offense and very stout on defense. Of course both the Seahawks and Broncos have to take care of the task at hand before we reach that point.
Deserving isn't a good word but I get some teams having a long drought, never winning, would be nice to see. However, every fan feels their team/town should get in and win.

Good question...I think they won a superbowl with JR, but I may be wrong. Doesnt San Diego have a Superbowl win? I just like to see cities getting to live the magic of a Superbowl win. I know Cincinnati doesnt have one, but yea if Chargers dont have one either, put them on the list my mistake. So right now its go Seahawks, go Chargers, go Panthers...did I miss anyone?
