With these new changes I remain skeptical. Promoting the defensive line coach to head coach and the QB coach to offensive coordinator, on a team where play calling was highly criticized over the past year and beyond. I really don't see this as an upgrade. Perhaps the owner York and gm Baalke are genius's and see something most of us dont. I suspect they will have more influence with the game plan. Well regardless, looking forward to the 2015 campaign, should be interesting.
Ownership destroyed and let go a good thing that any team would want. Even the most ardent Harbaugh haters like yourself should know that. However, they got what they wanted....They put in a 'yes' man in Tomsula to be the head coach. No experience...good luck.
Have low expectations. If the team is anywhere close to .500 it'll be a win/bonus.
Harbaugh is no longer here. Good luck to him at Michigan.
I'm asking about the current staff since I know nothing about them. Just looking for deeper insights from people more knowledgeable than me about some of these people on the staff, in addition to what I find through my own research.
Two great players, Patrick Willis and Justin Smith are retiring. This team won't even be recognizable next season. There's also talk of Kaep being on the trading block.
Hopefully the rumors of a 1 year 4 million deal are true and he really is recinsidering.

Frank Gore may not sign with the Eagles after all.
Despite reports over the weekend that the Eagles and Gore had reached a deal, multiple reports say that Gore is now not so sure he’s going to sign the Eagles’ offer. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Colts may now be the frontrunners for Gore’s services.
Now it looks like Gore is going to the Colts. It may be easier to track who's not leaving. Clearly the players are showing their displeasure with management via mass exodus.
Its gone from bad to worse for this franchise. Its hard to imagine that just over a year ago they were driving downfield for the winning TD for a trip to the Super Bowl. It has been said that the NFL stands for Not For Long, it certainly appears to be the case here.
Yes, I try to be optimistic, but it's looking pretty damn bad for this team. I certainly had my problems with Harbaugh, as many here know, but he did bring a system that was highly successful. I think the front office lucked out when they got him, and undeservedly looked like geniuses during the successful seasons Harbaugh had coaching this team. Trent Baakle's job is on the line, I hope. I have no confidence in York and his BS "win with class" crap. So hollow and shallow.
I have no confidence in the front office. They built the current coaching staff from the bottom up. The new coach has never been proven to have a winning system, never proven himself to coach a team to the high level. The top players are gone. This team is either going to look very mediocre, not even have a winning season, or be the laughing stock of the league, a guaranteed win for every team they play. I'm especially not looking forward to the beat downs that will be administered when the Niners play the Packers and the Seahawks.

I was planning on going to the game in Pittsburgh this year, but I think I'll save my money. Ugh at last check we had 7 starters returning but it may be less now.
