It was stated rthat this weekend if a game goes into OT, if the team who receives the Ball first kicks a FG the game would not be over. The other team would have a chance to either tie the game with a FG, or win the game with a TD.

Why hasn't this rule been in effect????????????

I always felt it was so unfair for a team who didn't get the Ball first to lose because the team who received the ball first scored while the other team could respond.

NFL owners pass playoff overtime rules modification - ESPN
that would be sweet if this overtime rulechange is officially prossessed.

look, i don't think the TS was announcing the new playoff rule changes, but rather, the fact that they are being enacted starting this season's playoffs!!!

if playoff's was played a certain way during the regular season, why make the change for the playoff's??

and besides, the new rule change is stupid...both teams should be given an oppurtunity to run their offense...with this new rule, if you win the coin toss, recieve the kickoff and score a TD, game over...how is that any better than the past rules??
