They caught the Texans sleeping

I've been a Jets fan since they were the NY Titans, the little teasers like this are entirely within character.

Cartman was right. The soap opera aspect really does make sports fun. (The wrestling episode, aka "They took r jerbs!")

I don't follow the Jets but it's fun rooting for a beleaguered QB to make good.

Zach Wilson looked like a HOF QB. Stroud looked like trash. The difference is I think the Jets' defense came to play. Houston couldn't stop the Jets to save their lives.

Z. Wilson was rumored to be reluctant to play for fear of an injury. Why play with the season down the tubes? As it turned out he did play but suffered a concusion. So much for avoiding injuries.

Funny how Aaron Rodgers won't return this year because the Jets are out of playoff contention. On the other hand, I guess you shouldn't blame him for risking another injury by coming back.

Defenses also need time to gel. Why would offenses gel more slowly than defenses?

Further, a new quarterback (or one new to a team) will have an advantage until defenses figure out how to play him in the new scheme.

His head start also benefits from a year in the system.

I think the Jets' advantage might be stronger at the beginning of the season. And that's if the 40-year-old can stay healthy.
