His mother in law was dying, he's pulled over by an a$$hole cop and you are critiquing his attitude?

I didn't think even you could stoop this low.............

The officer is a jerk who is getting what he deserved, even his own chief said he was wrong.

Getting a cop to escort someone out of the blue is like cows flying! They just don't do it. I've experienced this before when a relative was in a car wreck. I was at a local store when i got a call on my cell about my aunt being in a wreck. I asked an officer to go with me to the scene and mentioned that we needed to get there fast. He said that there will be other authorities there. I went ahead and sped out of the parking lot and zoomed down the street nearby. Luckily, there were no cops on the highway.

wow! just saw the video on the news. the cop could've just gone inside the hospital with the guy if he was afraid that ryan was lying and trying to run away. apparently, the officer still felt that he did nothing wrong even after the video. he was assigned to a desk job now after this incident, but they should've canned his ass!

Which doesn't include some of the people in this thread, apparently. Good grief - nurses even came out and explained the situation. He didn't even try to verify. The guy was an asshat in no uncertain terms. If he isn't fired I'd be amazed.

That said, any particular reason the player didn't just say "fine, tow it" and go in? How is that a hard choice?

I wanted to reserve judgement until I saw the video. I could not believe that cop. When the nurses came out and the cop was still doing his thing; I was shocked. That cop deserves nothing short of termination.

Please don't start with that. The cop was in the wrong but all your doing is speculating and that doesn't improve the situation.

I can see this thread going off topic pretty quick.
