Dusting is my least favorite household chore. I would rather clean the toilet. At least I get that immediate satisfaction that lasts more than a day (at least in MY house). :-)

There is one thing that forces me to clean my kitchen floor truly to the extent that you could eat off it.. and that is, when glass or china is dropped and shatters on the ground. Broken glass is something that sends me into hyper-mode.
Hmm, I know people that put an X where it shouldn't go like in "I'm axing you a question" instead of "I'm asking you a question".

It's like Xs ARE going to be pronounced. If someone loses one someplace, someone else somewhere else picks it up and sticks it somewhere. So every time you hear someone axing a question, just know that someone across the pond is talking about Bregsit.
That could be the explanation for it! Could we have our "x's" back though, please?! Before it drives me mad!
lmao! My husband has been complaining about people who say EG-sit.. for as long as I've known him. I say I've never heard them and he says I just haven't lived in Canada long enough. He is so obsessed with it that he can't leave it alone whenever the real word shows up.
I totally understand where he is coming from!
(By the way, can I just say that the Canadian part of Niagara Falls is lovely. Nice park area over that side. ).

I have to agree with you, it's a really nice area. The drive from Fort Erie up to NF, along the Niagara Parkway, is gorgeous too, and made famous by Winston Churchill who referred to it as "the prettiest Sunday drive in the world."
I have two separate candles lit and they're fighting each other for dominance. I don't know why I lit both. It's kind of giving me a headache... the mingling of the scents. But I don't want to have to get up and exhale on one of them.
For watching the sunset tonight I just can't decide which beach to go to or to drive upcountry a bit for a more panoramic view, ugh, such difficult choices to face each evening.
Our washer has all but died. The last load we ran had to be babied. DH has a lot more patience than I do about this. At any rate I am counting the days until my new washer and dryer are delivered. 4 days. I think I have just enough underthings to get me through. We bought it last week and were told that delivery would happen in 10 days. Every day I count down the days.
That I am excited about a new washer and dryer sure tells you a lot about the boring life I lead!
I have a bucket of aqua blue dye sitting in my kitchen from when I dyed some stuff the other day. I don't want to dump the dye, but I don't have anything else that "needs" to be aqua-colored. Every time I walk into the kitchen, I simultaneously fear that I'm going to kick the bucket (literally, not figuratively!) and I start singing, "Blue Bayou."
What do I do with the aqua blue dye? Buy more stuff that needs dyeing or what?!
