LMAO, that's the smell of mud baking in the sun. Allegiant just cancelled the route to New Jersey, I wonder if this a sign of the future of this project.

Allegiant Airlines pilot suffers seizure mid-flight headed to Punta Gorda

A pilot on an Allegiant Airlines flight headed to Punta Gorda suffered a seizure mid-flight, said the Gainesville Fire Rescue District.

The flight took off from Cincinnati bound for Punta Gorda. The flight diverted to Gainesville where EMS treated the pilot.

The pilot was taken to the hospital in good condition.

"It was scary when the plane was going down because the crew started running towards the front, and nobody really knew what was going on," said passenger Ellie Fllower. "It didn't seem like any passengers were sick so we were confused."

The flight number is 1304. Allegiant does not fly in and out of Gainesville. A new crew from Sanford, Florida, arrived in Gainesville to fly the 155 passengers to Punta Gorda. The flight landed in Punta Gorda around 2:30 p.m.

Allegiant said they provided meals for the passengers while they waited as well as compensation for the delay.

They cancel & add routes weekly based on the numbers. People always complain "that route was ALWAYS full, why cancel it!?!?" If that were true, they wouldn't. If the planes aren't full, then it's not a profitable route. Always check PIE to see if your destination is available from there. They have a lot more destinations than PGD, and it's only 1hr 15min drive up there.

We fly out of SW International in Fort Myers again. 35 minutes from the house, no biggie. It was nice to be 7 or 8 minutes away from PG airport and taking Uber for less than 10 bucks.

Personally I like the "harmony of sounds in your new community". Is that the sound of the guy with the loud stereo, or the guy that uses his leaf blower every day?

The Sunseeker official website has removed June as a start date for construction. There is no construction start time listed now...

It will be the sounds of all the rentals around you making excessive noise, all the time. Their rental bought them the the state of Fla. to do what they want and to h--- with everyone else.
