I also predict that some people will complain it was too much snow and others will complain it wasn't enough. They'll also gripe about the limitations of forecasting weather and attribute any deviation to greed and incompetence.

There will be complaints that You Guys Around Here don't know how to drive in the snow. You Guys Around Here will explain it's the ice not the snow. Someone will post the picture for the 5000th time.
People will brag about their consumption of alcohol.
WRAL will start news alerts every fifteen minutes with all hands on deck in the news room and custom graphics talking to a van somewhere in clayton with the camera zoomed in on some curb slush
Well, it's winter. Kids should be dressed to handle outdoor temps so in the event of cold indoors they should be set. Cold classroom sucks, but everyone should have had warm clothes anyway.
Dressing for outside and dressing in layers for indoor wear due to cold are two different things and high school kids aren't known for planning ahead based on what MIGHT happen.

Much ado about nothing so far. Coastal NC is getting covered....according to the radar. Even showing precip here in Raleigh. But no one I know on the coast is seeing a flake, drop, etc.
Only legit reports Ive seen, with photos, are from Charleston, SC area. Nothing on the radar around here is making it to the ground. That covers entire SE portion of NC.
Just turn on traffic in Google Maps to see where snow is making it to the ground.

Too many bad memories of that stuff. $3.10 for a 12 pack of bottles when I was a teen. Schmidts was the only thing cheaper at $.99/six pack.
