For July 3rd, I plan to go to the Garner celebration at Lake Benson, revisiting after 13 yrs.
On July 4th, either amphitheater in Cary or Brier Creek in Raleigh.

Yours?

Am I the only one thinking about Covid and Delta variant in a crowd of semi-vaccinated people? I hope people keep their distance from each other. I may watch from my house cause I can see a little bit. If I do find a crowd it's the kind where we are spread out.

I don't worry about those that choose to not get vaccinated, and I don't worry about myself cause I'm vaccinated. We've known forever that outdoor events are practically zero risk.

That's correct - you shouldn't worry about any outdoor events. If you are vaccinated, enjoy your time this coming weekend and forget it!

Is the EnoFest good? Celebration starts the day after tomorrow. I may give a try.

There is reduced risk but not zero risk. Depends how close you are. Yes vaccine is good. Not sure what Delta will be like.

The Koka Booth event was pretty good, first time.

The fireworks lasted longer than I thought they would, and they had what I thought was the finale early on but then they had another finale. Maybe this is how it's done in the US these days, I think was the first fireworks I've seen here in decades.
