Your problem isn't even remotely that every woman you meet has kids. Your problem is that every HOT woman you meet has kids.
Get a clue. You thought she was hot. So did someone else, so he boinked her. And now she has a kid. Make sense?

Realistically there isn't anything wrong with being 30-something and not wanting a woman with kids but the older you get the pickin's get a whole heck of a lot slimmer and you know, some of those women who had kids while they were young would have older kids by now and the OP may be missing out on a possible opportunity.
There are plenty of single woman who ARE 30-something and never been married OR had kids but then you kind of have to wonder... is something wrong with them? LOL (and before anyone gets hurt feelings by what I just said, I was speaking figuratively, not literally)
Look I'm 35 years-old, working, benefits, a home, a car and pretty down to earth guy. But almost every chick i run into have 1,2,3, and even 4 kids.
These women must think i got sucker stamp on my head. because they know damn well 5 and 10 years ago they wouldn't give a damn about me, but i guess since The so called bad boy phase is out the door and they had there while times they think some good dude will come along and take care of her and her kids..

For a while I felt like I was surrounded by single mommies with kids. It was a nightmare. Every girl I'd meet had orders of magnitude more baggage than I did... and don't get me started on their sense of entitlement.
I moved to a different part of town, started meeting different types of people, quit online dating, and that problem went away.

It's funny, it seems like most of my friends (especially female) who are all hitting their late 20's with me now have been gradually changing their tune when it comes to compromising on a certain attribute to gain the whole package.
At 22/23, it was "I won't settle for someone who doesn't have the education/background/height/eye color/zodiac sign/physique/national origin/etc."
At 27/28, it's "I just want someone who makes me happy, is sincere, and I can count on."

i'm not seeing how that adds any 'fairness' to the discussion. the kid is the only baggage i had in mind.
if you're talking about additional baggage a person might have, like drugs, finances, stress, mental neuroses, etc., then that's just the gravy on top.

Every guy I meet has kids - I can't believe it!! If they think I'm going to fall for dating them they've got another thing coming! I know they just want someone to cook, clean and do laundry and I'm NOT falling for it!!

Many men over 35 have children too. All those women with children had to have them with someone, right? Also since women outnumber men getting degrees nowadays the "women with children are not educated" argument is a little outdated.
