I generally don't care for romantic movies, especially newer ones. But I love a lot of older movies and they will often have a romance thrown in somewhere. And as far as pure romantic movies, I make an exception for "Random Harvest", which I love. I recommend it to anyone, and I defy all but the most cold-hearted to watch it without getting a little choked up a couple of times. I also have to the book, which I like even better.
When A Man Loves A Woman (and the associated song). I think it's really incredible that a couple can get through the trials of an addiction, work through it together and find out what they really mean to each other.
I don't think I have ever seen another person's relationship and thought, "Oh, that's the relationship I want." Most of them I don't care for or wouldn't put up with.
"Romantic movies"? I enjoyed The Princess Bride.
Mmmmm...nothing else just screams to the top of my mind...I am sure there are other good ones.

Really? That's definitely admirable! kudos to you for being strong in the area I can be really weak in!
Moonstruck starring Cher, Nicolas Cage, Danny Aiello, Vincent Gardenia and Olympia Dukakis. Both my favorite romantic and all around favorite movie of all time.
The movie won three Oscars including Cher for best actress and Dukakis for best supporting actress, also best original screenplay. The acting, screenplay, and directing is brilliant.
I seldom if ever watch a movie more than once.....I've seen this one a dozen times.
Here is my favorite scene from the movie.....also hands down favorite scene of all the movies I've ever watched....and I've seen thousands of movies.
I would say "The Notebook" kind of describes my life in a way...
Me, too! That's the movie I was going to say, as well! It's the movie that I feel comes closest to my relationship with my husband. Not every detail, obviously - but the passion, the fighting, the fun, etc. And I called off my wedding for my husband, too.
