As far as I know, we are having a lot of fun 31 years into our marriage. Sex is great, too However, I consider my wife the best thing that has ever happened to me. She raised my two daughters from a previous marriage, plus two sons of our own. She also put-up with my 20-year military life, constant moves from one place to another, and on and on.

So, since I will be forever grateful for her putting-up with me, I have placed her on a pedestal, for she is the center of my life, my anchor, support, and love. She is a person on her own, I don't own her, and everything I have or own is hers. I would give my life for her, too

My wife and I just passed 35 years. Yes we still enjoy each others company, still have fun together, and still take romantic vacations together. She's my best friend, lover and I still look forward to seeing her after work. We've had some not so great years, but those were early on. We both matured, and the last 25 have been great.

I have to agree with lovesMountains post #2. I've only been married to my present wife for 19 years, but we have known each other and dated (6 years) going on 30 years now. I wouldn't change a thing. When we first started dating I told her I was hers for at least 41 years, don't know if I will make it that long, but every minute so far has been wonderful. It all has to do with picking the right person and making the most of it.

I've been married happily for 28 years to the most wonderful and committed man. He puts up with my quirks as I put with his and we thank each other for our patience.

I was married to one man for 37 years. Then I showed him the door.

And no, I wasn't getting what I needed from the relationship. I gave him a lot of time to deal with it and he chose to ignore the issue. So, I did it.

Did we still have fun? Yes, he was an ideal companion and a good friend.

Wow, sounds like majority are still going strong after all those years! Are most together 24/7 cause that would get testy at times since we are in that position. Guess as in anything in life, it has peaks & valleys, but definitely after so long together, we are BF.

What I am inferring from this post is that he wasn't willing to have the "Viagra talk" with his doctor. Am I right?
