Well what came first? The abusive relationships, the substance abuse or the bisexual behavior? People in abusive relationships often grew up in homes where there was abuse and may be more confused about their sexual identity.
Not a popular theory but I have seen enough people that were sexually abused as children to be confused about thier sexual orientation when they become older that I'm sure it is more than an anomoly. Whats the #? who knows, but I do know on some GLBT sites the topic of abuse and specifically sexual abuse seems to be way above the norm.
Men who consider themselves bisexual haven't come to terms with their sexuality. Men are either gay or straight.
And if that is true I'm sure it would apply to females to. There are all sorts of variation when it comes to human sexuality, its no surprise there are Bisexuals?
It most certainly exists, but it's not as common as you'd think, especially with women. Many of the ones that claim they're bi, really are doing it for attention.
You really think so?
Hmm...my experiences have been pretty much the opposite. Maybe it's because I've spent so much time in the music biz, which tends to attract more, shall we say, open-minded people; But from what I've seen it seems like about one-quarter or so of all women out there are only about three or four wine coolers away from slipping under the sheets for some touchy-feely with that "special" gf.

You're probably right, but the study I read was about men.
