Well, guess I will mark you off the guest list, lol.

Using Clorox to sterilize eating utensils is absolutely safe as long as you rinse things well, or put them into a dishwasher. In fact, it is what is recommended.

Dishwashers today don't heat to the extent they used to (change in design w/ heating coils) so assuming everything that goes into a dishwasher is gonna come out sterilized is incorrect.

I sanitize my motorhome freshwater tank with a diluted amount of bleach.

I'm a cat person actually

When I've had dogs or been around them I'll love up on them, play with them, pet them.

But when you consider where a dog puts his mouth, not to mention many of them eat their own cr*p, there is no way a dog mouth will touch mine!

I've rescued more than a few dogs (and cats) in my life, so I do love them, just won't be kissing any of them, lol!

There are countries that...not only share food in one big platter, but also use their fingers to dig in. They stuff their mouths with whatever is being served while gesticulating and conversing loudly, creating food-spray everywhere without offending anyone but.... It's a matter of culture folks.
