Most likely since he's a guy he approached me based on attraction and I doubt guys approach gals they find average so I see no reason for me to do what he didn't. No different than I don't see much reason in a pretty gal overlooking an ugly guy's appearance when he most likely approached her because she was pretty.
As well as in my opinion most guys personality are essentially the same- they want to bust a nut and they want their egos pandered to.
I hate those types of guys. I can smell a man only into me for my looks a mile away and I would never consider him.
Yep. Their interests, intelligence, compassion, humor, etc are all more important to me.
Edit: I don't care how 'hot' someone is - If we don't have anything in common, don't share some similar interests, or they're jerks, or have no sense of humor, etc... They're simply not attractive to me.

But I also will say women are no different. And at least more men are being honest in this poll.
And if you think about the fact that many men do find 5s 'sexually attractive, snapshot off the bat, she hasn't even opened her moth yet' it makes it even more so.
The results of the poll thus far say that 17 of 18 women will take a man who is for all intents and purposes, not attractive, but has a really good personality.
I call foul!
This is completely and utterly against what I observe both in real life and on CD forums as well. Women who reject guys who have good personalities and are decent looking ALL THE TIME.
The poll results for the women match up with my experiences. The 9 personality should include a good amount of confidence and chutzpah. So if the great personality isn't readily apparent early on then it is a lot harder.
