Because you can't take them seriously is why I love them, face it 40k is an depressing universe so comic relief is needed. With orks all you need is green paint and red because "red ones go faster". Besides that painting them is easy and they are the most customizing friendly army in my opinion. I mean painting your ork scout unit in bright colors because they don't understand the concept of stealth is just awesome.

I don't like spending time with people I don't like - that's why I would email/text/talk for the first month. I ended up accepting very few dates, and that was fine by me.

Why is your name Stan if you're a girl?
Lol...long story involving a nickname in college that stuck and now it's my online moniker for everything.

So I'm a bit lost here. How do those who hate dating expect to meet anyone? At some point your going to have to spend some coin & take them out Unless you think you can seriously get them to come over on the first date to your house & cook for them..

I hate dating...but I still go on them. I consider them a necessary evil at best. Of course, when I'm out with a decent guy it can make dating very enjoyable, but unfortunately, most guys have zero conversation skills.

First relationship: Friends
Second relationship: biochem class
Third relationship: Friends
Fourth relationship: Actually had to date...this was fun because we got to know each other SO WELL in the first date (that was like never-ending...we kept finding more and more stuff to do together that it went long into the night - NO, not that)
Fifth relationship: Friends

So, 4/5 of these people I already knew. I already knew they passed muster prior to spending time dating them.

Almost all my other "dates" have been pretty disappointing. I get there and within 20 minutes, I'm like...meh.

As it should be. "Caveat emptor" is a good motto.

For all we know that probably has happened and it probably worked out just fine. Also some meet through friends or start as friends and it works sometimes. I just don;t like how pretentious way people be treating it.

I don't enjoy dating. I see it as a means to an end but it's usually not all that fun for me.
