Could it be a simple fact that we as human beings all have different preferences? Pretty simple if you ask me.
While your honesty is refreshing, whether to continue dating date you
is still optional. Being honest does not guarantee commitment. Being
open minded may mean listening to your "taboo" life story, respecting it
but choosing not to be involved. There are stigmas attached to men that
have sex with other men AND women. Perhaps a male same sex relationship
in your past is a deal breaker for some women & that is their right.
The thing about the BNGLs is that they almost always switch to identifying as gay after a few months. Most never carried the bi label for very long. If someone's been out as bi for a couple years then that's probably what they are. I know a lot of bi guys who are 40-50 and married with kids--none of them are out except maybe to some close friends or their spouse. It's more common for kids in their teens and 20s to openly identify as bi now, as the social environment is slightly more accepting than it used to be, despite some types like the ones in this thread. Many guys from previous generations who were bi identified publicly as straight their whole lives. This invisible population is quite large, and you're only contributing to the psychological stress they face by telling them they're 'probably' lying about their sexuality when they try to be honest about it.
If it's so trendy and fashionable how come so many people in this thread consider it a dealbreaker? How come a lot of actual bi guys keep it a complete secret because they're afraid women will never date them again? There isn't anything trendy about it.
You might not like what I am going to say but feces inserted into the penal shaft via anal sex brings about all sorts of infections....Bacteria and other organisms can enter into the prostrate- the kidneys...the bladder etc. There is no guarantee that this bi-sexual male has always used a condom...If I were a woman I would consider this type of male unclean...If you are a straight male you do not want to have a woman who might not be "clean" - A man that has sex with men should stay away from woman..That's just my view.

I personally want absolutely NOTHING to do with gays, lesbians, bisexuals. They are NOT sexually attractive to me, and no religion, peer pressure, modern arts, media will change my views on this. However, I think it is about time for straight people to stop judging them.

Wow look at that- You sure did a lot of research - in order to dig up as many of my sins as possible. Why so much effort to protect your "cause" ? - As for the short affair with the woman you mention...She was a widow who's history I knew and was not a person who slept around.. I believe ancient Greeks had men sleeping with boys. And I accept that an Amerindian tribe in the Amazon had not the cultural requirement that all men marry not just a wife but also take one man as a lover. You might call two men and one woman in a sexual/romantic relationship a bisexual kind of relationship.
I accept these things. I do not deny there existence. Therefore, I can not say never has it ever happened a person that is not gay can and has slept once or more with a person of the same sex.
Bearing in mind a male most gain an erection to use his phallus sexually. Sorry, but that's the way it is, and being an adult means accepting that physiological function of the male anatomy.
Americans are said to have a binary view of the world typically. Like their scientific research routinely excluded all those falling in between homosexuality and heterosexuality during the first half of the 20th Century. Similar to the American concept of only categorizing people as black or white (not biracial or mulatto) during portions of its history. Perhaps, mainly after Reconstruction or more especially after 1920 maybe.
I believe human sexuality is more fluid yes.
I accept some people are into bestiality too. I do not think they were "born" fixed that way and no change being possible. Actually, the number of fetishes listed on porn sites is mind boggling. With no exaggeration there seems to be a couple or maybe a few hundred.
The Spartans also took male lovers. But I think with the Spartans they were adult male lovers if I'm remembering correctly.
Given a person receives half their genes from their mother and the other half from their father, we should expect today most Greek men should be bisexual if not homosexual males. Especially considering the Turks were known to have harems of pretty boys too. Vlad the Impaler's young brother was supposedly kept as one of these boy toys for the Turkish Sultan that placed him in his harem. So, the Turks the mortal enemies of the Greeks can be said to have carried gay or bi genes in their gene pool too.
Greek women seemed to have been more "open minded" than the modern liberal woman that gets her sense of morality from contemporary liberals and gay advocacy groups while systematically discriminating against bisexual males. Prejudiced against them as "cool" and "smart."
While not a popular image among Americans since we love Samurai movies. The Japanese Samurai were one of the most bisexual institutions on earth. Their female lovers/wives had little to no problem with this. Why? Because it was regarded as neither "bad," or "sick" or "abnormal" in Japanese culture. Unlike how we think today the Japanese centuries ago drew little distinction between a man screwing a woman and screwing a man. They were pretty equal and women screwed men they knew were screwing other men.
For U.S. liberal and conservative consumption we have to make Samurai in films look like 100% heterosexuals and the Spartans in the movie 300 look like 100% heterosexuals that were lovers of U.S. democracy.

Spartan women had no problem having sex with men that had sex with other men. What is the problem with contemporary Western liberal women, why are they not as "enlightened" or "cool" as Spartan women? Why do said liberal women retain so much of the conceptions of heterosexual, Germanic chivalry where warrior men are heterosexual? (Chivalry being a merger between Christianity and Germanic warrior culture)
That is a myth. Spartans and Greeks did not allow men to have anal sex with them. Woman were considered lowly and to have anal sex was considered to be like a woman. People like to revise history...to create a picture of what took place a thousand years ago...Unless you were there you would not really know.
Back to the subject, there are nothing to be ashamed of being bisexual, If I were a bisexual person, I would definitely let my date know my sexual orientation because I believe to some people, it will be a deal breaker. I want to be with somebody who accept me for me anyway. Being upfront and honest will eliminate a lot of problems in the long run, in my most humble opinion.
