Thread starter, to look at it from a different angle what about people who when started a relationship were relatively evenly matched But one person improved themselevs?

For example I've heard stories of women who were fat and then they lost weight. After losing weight they got WAAAAY more attention from guys and much better quality guys Hitting on them. They later feel that they're settling with the partner they have now even though when they started they were kindoff on the same level

The conflation of looks and attractiveness, and the idea that settling is about looks, on the last page and this one is just bizarre to me. I don't really know what to say.
