the man could be asexual or is no longer interested in having a sexual relationship. either way MYOB let it go
These are possible scenarios.
I see nothing wrong with asking if he'd be interested in meeting one of the OP's single girlfriends.
Either he will be or he won't be.
I'm big on being straightforward and polite about such things.
A man doesn't make it to his 50s being single and never having been asked if he would like to meet someone. I'm sure he will handle it with grace, either way.

Even if he isnt gay, He more than likely did not ever want kids or marriage and is content being alone. If you don't even know him, it's pretty hard to introduce him to a friend.
ive never heard him talk of a special woman in his life (or man for that matter) and at first i tbougbt he was just very private; but after four years Im thinking this co-worker is gay....the guy is about 56 and his only interest seems to be golf once a week and then a drinkfest after with his buddies at the club what do you think gay or no gay?
Why is it any of your business?
