Maybe I should eat more fruit... I've been getting a lot better about eating veggies, but I limit fruits just because of the sugar you pick up eating them, I know it's natural sugar, but too much of it isn't good either...

I love mangos but they are picked too early when shipped here. Can't find any that are ripe.

Same goes with our store, you got to plan that stuff out a few days, to give them a chance to ripen a bit.... I bought a couple of avocados and luckily they were just about perfect, maybe could have used a day or more but definitely do-able....

Bananas... not so much, those suckers are practically green in the store... thankfully they ripen up pretty quick, especially doing the paper bag trick...

LOL, I guess my point is that when I'm really hungry and haven't eaten in a while, I don't go "Damn... I'm so hungry, I can eat a shtyload of fruit".... LOL....
That made me LOL. It depends on my mood and depends on what I have available.

Holy cow that is DIRT CHEAP! No kidding! Apples here don't go much less than $1.69 a pound and that is only certain varieties when they are in season. When I lived in NY we'd get most for 49-69 cents a pound.

There's a place here that has warm pita and tzatziki ...soooooo good! If I wasn't in public I think I'd lick the plate! LOL

Agree. When I find them ripe I buy a crap load and freeze them.

Bad thing about a mango is that is doesn't continue to ripen once picked.

Is that of the alcoholic variety? If not it's just fat in a cup. If you are going to drink egg nog you ought to at least make it worthwhile...a buzz along with the fat I say
