I had my first date with my now-fiance two days before I was leaving town for a couple of weeks. We had our first date, and it went well, and he asked if it would be too forward to suggest going to dinner the next night...neither of us wanted me to leave town without knowing that the other was aware that there was a genuine interest, there. So we went out. We talked almost nightly the whole time I was gone and have been inseparable since.
I agree with the poster who said if the girl likes you already, it's not coming on too strong, and if she's not interested, she will think that it IS coming on too strong. So it's a pretty good litmus test.
so I rang this lady this evening , she seemed happy to talk and said dinner this Thursday was a nice idea
I offered to pick her up at her house but she discretely said NO , that's ok , I can see where she,s coming from
