LOL.

Well, real life meeting randomly isn't all that great. All you have to go on is instant attraction to looks which is a **** poor method of meeting people IMO. It sounds like, the little I've heard about the app, is it appeals to shallowness.

Well, a lot of us are shallow so it's ok. I wish it would also pull in the location information from Facebook because I don't like to get matched up with people who are just visiting my city.

Isn't going on looks what tinder is about? I could really give a flip about online dating sites but I just thought tinder's opening line was funny. IT STARTS HERE, TENDER IS HOW PEOPLE MEET, ITS LIKE REAL LIFE, BUT BETTER.

Better than real life.
Actually, randomly meeting people is great. Get to use those social skills, gut instincts, deductive and inductive reasoning, feel the chemistry. Its an adventure. Kind of like taking a road trip without GPS.
But, Im and old fart, don't mind me.

Oh, it can be. I just ended a thing with someone I met at a bus stop. It lasted a couple of months, but probably went 6 weeks too long. It's fun, but limiting... once the initial chemistry / spark is explored we just found out we weren't compatible. "Real life" meetings (the random ones) almost always seem to go that route. I find OLD superior as if it is a well written profile I can really get a sense of what makes that person tick and our compatibility in general. Very valuable.

I can't stand people that rely on a GPS...

Did you ever consider that maybe people on Tinder just want a ONS?

I have a guy asking me out on Tinder right now, but most of his photos are side shots or far away, and I don't think I'm attracted to him. Should I say no thanks or just block him? (Blocking is the only way to delete a match.)

Take control of your life and do what you feel like...

Sure, but if that is the case, don't call it a dating site.

Of course, if you want a ONS its easier to just go to a bar then playing electronic game and you can actually gauge attraction which is something nearly impossible to do from a two dimensional image (unless, again, you're super shallow... which is fine).

You're right! I don't want to waste his time, so it's a no go.

It's not even a site, lol. It's an app...
