Oh my goodness, this future bride of yours certainly better not like sex "too" much, lest she be labelled "immoral".

Oh, look! Another marriage-bashing thread, only this time it's done with an overlay of irony and religious pontification! And it has elements of zlut-shaming and gender-bashing, to boot!

I'll give this one a 7 for god-seasoning.

I don't understand what you're saying and I think you might be either deluded or confused because I wasn't bashing marriage, I was bashing 2014.

Thanks though

She has to be amenable to sex on demand, but she can't like it too much or want to experiment.

Please stop talking like that, it's classless and there are old people and minors on this forum. It doesn't reflect well upon you as a person to sexualize everything.

It's okay. You don't need to understand. The other members should, though.

BTW, welcome to City-Data! My, my, you are prolific in your opinions in only one day. The average American woman is immoral, marriage is too much of a financial and emotional risk, pre-marital sex is evil. Oh, please, do go on. The average, sexually active, married, single, or divorced American woman here won't mind such snotty and hypocritical judgments from newcomers. No, not at all. In fact, we'll welcome you with open arms! Judge away!

Please. Some of us are on ya like white on rice.

My problem is that the beliefs of today do not match up with my beliefs. I cannot change the world, but it just sucks to think about sometimes.

I'm not going to reply anymore, have fun.
How is it that you came about adhering to such stringent religious beliefs and "moral values", I assume through the Catholic church, yet there are no female members that hold the same beliefs and "moral values". Are you the only righteous member of your flock?

I guess you have never heard the saying that one can not legislate morality.

here again we have a situation where having free will is rendered useless and pointlesd

religion is a choice

"marriage" is a choice

xyz is a personal choice that you made hopefully not under durest

somehow though we let outside forces like religious ideas and societal ideas control how we go about life

i was disturbed by a post above where somebody said theyd rather be in a loveless "marriage" vs being alone

smh. perhaps i read that wrong

certain things in life you just dont have control over. religion, marriage/relationships are not on the list

And I profoundly apologize for sexualizing a discussion of a sexual relationship between two married adults.
