Robert I see you point, I think you just came across as a real a**, not intentially though. Good luck.

I don't want it now, so therefore, I don't want someone elses. Now, I see that I have a little less energy and patience, so I don't want to deal with offspring of any sort. Therefore, just like the religion issue, the checking of the box "has kids" means it wouldn't be the woman of my dreams, just like you ladies might say "short....nah," "not a jock....nah," or "not a professional...nah." The cherrypicking, or desire to do so, works both ways.
Hope your not referring to my response

I'm a married woman with kids and men are always trying to date me. LOL

Anyway, I think it is great that you know what you want and only seek that out!! I just thought the way you expressed the kid part was a little condescending, I'm sure you didn't mean it that way though.

Nice part though with the Catholic thing

btw guys, I don't have a problem with the viagra thing!! LOL

I agree with a couple of the posters above. There is nothing wrong with what you are looking for, Robert. It's the way you went about saying it. It was a tad on the condescending side. I understand what you are looking for as I have a brother, 39, who is never married, no kids, no baggage. He doesn't want to have children either because he doesn't want to be an 80 year old dad at some point. I am not sure if he is adamant about a woman he gets involved with having no children, but I know he does not want to have any of his own, for a lot of the same reasons you stated.

BTW, since I now believe Stacy K to be a child playing with the computer, I will no longer try to hook you up with her. That was just a silly joke anyway!

Yup Twinkle Toes...I am in total agreement but it's still fun to toss a few jabs every now and then. Yes, I am a stinker...

With all due respect Stacy, are you the long lost sister of Forest Gump? What country are you supposed to be from, considering your apparent skills with the English language, I am guessing you are from somewhere else? You seem to track a certain poster on CD and accuse her of man hating - what gives?

I had a friend who had (at the time) 2 kids from 2 different guys (it has since changed to 4 kids, 3 different dads, ugh). Glad it wasn't my situation, but she seemed happy... whatever. Anyway, she was dating a guy who eventually told her that he didn't think he could make a long-term commitment with her b/c of the kids.

She got incredibly offended and told him that if he thought he'd find someone like me that's never been married or never had kids, he was crazy. That went down while I was sitting in her dining room... good stuff. It almost made me feel like I had some kind of social deficit for not being an unwed mother.

I've since married and still no kids. I'm cool with that. Hubby's cool with that. Not everyone is meant for having kids. I don't think there's anything wrong with knowing what you want, as long as you're true to it and don't demolish other people for feeling differently.

Ok, I heartily agree not everyone should have kids and bravo to the people who are upfront about it. There is enough abuse in the world now no need to frustrate or injure more people, young or old. Yes, the original email was less than stellar but supposedly there is somebody for everybody. Let's hope the right ones find each other.

BTW Stacy has been a red herring from the begining but the give and take has provided me some great comic relief. Especially the "womb too big, not comfortable for man" line. Get those boards out...
