We did a community service project and of the kids I trained, he is mid 20s, was wearing an orange t-shirt to this deal. I have nicknames for everyone. He showed in that, I called him pumpkin. He gets mad when the boss when calls them that. My parter and I called him that from the get go.
I am good with Pumpkin

This getting dark at 5 or 4 is for the birds. Start my day in the dark end the day in the dark. Fall back an hour and four months of sadness and depression. Need to get i the right frame of mind for winter.

Indeed. Makes running brutal. I turned my ankle on a stick in the road tonight, that's after taking a dive a week ago across a tree route. Running more than a few miles on a treadmill is numbing to me. I am not sure what to do or how I did it last winter at all.
I broke my ankle four years ago. I hated the crutches. Missed a week of work and caught all sorts of grief. Winter gets old about January and February. The bitter cold is no fun. Last week I wore long johns each day I was out in it.
