I don't think options dry up.

But, no, I would never "settle" for an unsuitable man/relationship. It amazes me how many people are willing to do that. I'd much, much rather be alone.

Don't we all settle? No one is perfect and everyone has flaws. I guess it depends on what you are wiling to overlook or work on.

I settled with someone unsuitable once. I was 18, and never dated before then. I wasn't attracted to her, and had virtually nothing in common with her. So it was a rash, desperation-induced decision, compounded by a scarcity mentality. Something good came out of it, though: I finally experienced a relationship, albeit a very unfun one, and got my first kiss.

If I could go back in time, would I do it again, knowing what I know now? Absolutely not!
