Hahaha. There is the urban legend of the guy who went to Atlanta on a biz trip and went to Cheetah III. He looked up and saw his daughter, a sophomore at Emory, sliding down a pole.
No Urban legend...It was one of my friend's friend and the daughter was going to Georgia Tech...Honest!!!
1eyed- Yes I only spent a few bucks. The beer was 2.50. There was a cover charge, but the lady at the door waived it for me after I smiled at her.
There are two main clubs in town, the "nasty" one and the one that we went to. The girls weren't ugly or anything, but I'd rather have to work for it then see what everyone else sees.
I did drop 5 additional bucks, but that was to the FULLY CLOTHED waitress that brought my beer to me. I figured having to walk around and deal with these people deserved a larger than normal tip on a single beer. Also, it keeps them checking on you, which she did numerous times the rest of the time there.
I'm not trying to rip on all people that go to these places, just the crowd that was at this one the time that I was there!
It's like, professional panhandling without any clothes on. Do that on the streets where you live.
A girl dances sexy around in front of you and then wants a dollar. I'd be like, "WHAT? No way!"
Then I thought about it for a while. I married spending thousands of dollars on a ring, thousands of dollars on a house and thousands of dollars on a car. I still can't get my wife to dance sexy in front of me like they do. Now I'm thinking a dollar isn't all that bad of a deal.
I've told this story before on this board how I lived next to a dancer in my apartment building. She was really gorgeous and a business major in college. She was dancing all over the South, including Dallas and Miami. Once every couple of weeks, I would escort her down to the bank where she would deposit most of her earnings in a safe deposit box, not a bank account. Then twice a year, she'd go scuba diving in the Cayman Islands and take her money with her. Her plan was to retire at 30 with around a million in cash. A very smart girl.
She claims that she never boinked a customers, and I somehow believe her. She wanted to date me, but I was weird about it at the time. Might have been fun. I wonder what she is doing now.
I have yet to go to a strip club which is a source of amusement to my work colleagues as some are vehemently against them(especially the women) and some make it the cornerstone of their life.
To me the whole thing is fake. It's a lie! As long as the money rolls the interest is there, but if you don't pay you don't get any action, so I hear. I'd rather see the real thing for free, as infrequently as it can be sometimes.
I've seen groups of teenage or college girls at stripclubs by themselves without any guys. They throw money on the table and have the strippers rub their bodies on them as well. I thought it was weird the first time but after the 10th time it was normal.
I once talked another girl into going into a strip club that used to be right downtown. I'd never been in one and had heard that this club wasn't terribly scary.
It was fine. We ordered beers, sat at a table like we'd been there a thousand times. The woman dancing looked like a giant frog. Wasn't appealing in the least. So we finished our beers and left.
