Lol.. I think it's all about your delivery... if you seem uncomfortable that might make her uncomfortable.. if you're confident that it's no biggie then she shouldn't make a big deal out of it either. Seriously, if it's a deal breaker for her or if she gets stuck on this one minor incident then move on :-) But hey.. that's just my opinion. Do what feels right for you. Good luck.. either way!

I agree. Make it part of asking her. Tell her it was fate. You two were just talking about bowling, and a coupon appeared.
Ok, going out on our third date. Going to get some dinner and go bowling.
After I suggested bowling I decided to sign up for the lane's newsletter. My first email from them was a free game for two.
Tacky to use a coupon?
My gut says yes. Because she could think it was the only reason I suggested bowling. Although, we did talk about bowling a few days ago.
Thoughts?
Use a coupon only when you can suggest that you have one! Your third date is way too early to start suggesting coupon usage!!! My husband and I use coupons now but I would have been put off if he had ever pulled one out when we were first dating...especially if it was a date he had planned! I would have thought he was cheap.
Third date? I don't know how tacky it would be to use a coupon but I wouldn't try it just yet. Chances are you will get another newsletter at some point with another coupon. Don't rock the boat just yet. Just go bowling and have fun
Yeah.. I think a lot of it has to do with the people involved.. some people are very regimented on their views of the proper way to do this, that, or the other thing.. others are more laid back. My opinion is it depends on the individual.. whatever he/she feels comfortable with. I prefer someone who is very secure in themselves and is very casual. I can see that kind of person using a coupon and I can see it working well.. but to each their own.
