I can't listen to the dude on the radio, so I'm not going to waste my time reading his nonsense. Why do people find this stuff entertaining?

This guy must be a douche bag!
If your shrink told you to read it...there must be a reason...could it be that your bf doesnt like the book because you are now being told about the games he is running on you? I mean really why did your shrink tell you to read this book? And why are you letting you bf read it first?

She did because I have issues with him looking at porn and how I can't seem to understand how those women don't mean anything to him and how he loves me and those are just passing images. She thought that he might give me some good insight on how a man thought.
Because when I'm asking him questions I want him to know what I'm referring to.. Also he does to therapy with me so it would help if he knows where i'm getting my crazy info. You see what i'm saying?
Anyway - he is a really good guy and is not one to blow smoke up my butt.

Ok so if you truly believed this then why do you need therapy?

I don't know. I've never been dysfunctional enough to actually pick up one of these self help books.

It has nothing to do with being dysfunctional... I just have a very black and white way of looking at things and she is trying to get me to see that there is a grey area and I should explore it some more.

Plus there is nothing wrong with picking up a self help book – no one is perfect and we can all stand to learn a thing or two about other ways of thinking.

There isn't a man out there that can out wit, out think or, out last me. That is why the "good ole boys" well drillers around here are sitting with their rigs rusting down around them.

Women can never think like men.

Experiment with this: if you point out to a man that his jeans are getting too tight, he'll say - "oh thanks" and he'll go out and buy a bigger size. Point that out to any woman and you don't get the same reaction at all. In fact even if the woman asks if her jeans make her look too fat, you'd better be careful how you answer.

Well of course that will never happen because we aren't men and just like men will never think like women no matter how gay they are.

I don't think the point is for a woman to think like a man but just understand how they think so maybe we can get along better. I also think men should try and learn to understand how we think so there lives are better as well.
