BTW, aren't you going to miss the solstice? I was reading the other day that it was on June 21st and about all the celebrations that are held. I think I would love to see something like that. I'll have to time my trip to be there next time. Maybe I'll go to Thailand first and hitch a ride with those guys that work with you????
Yes I am going to miss the solstice in Alaska. Matter of fact I have some friends in Talkeetna that throw a week long party with live bands etc. Ever heard of "3 blind mice" from London? But...since we've reversed our travel plans, I will get to celebrate the country of Sweden's midsommer festival with a beautiful young lady. I'm happy with that.
Rance, it sounds like you came out ahead on this deal.
I have to tell you though, I agree with the others, you need a pair of nice looking shorts and sandals or flipflops. You don't want to look like a refugee from the sixties when you're with your special lady.
