My friends hated it because it was so darn loud and I could never be the designated driver when we would sneak out Heck, it probably kept me out of so much trouble now that I think about it
LOL!! Seems like everyone had a Dodge Dart. I had one. Buttercream yellow with a worn cloth top. I named it Trad....
thought I was so clever...then realized almost everyone called their Dart Trad. Oh well, I was young.
We had a dark green 1968 Dart with a slant 6 cylinder engine. She ran forever.
Okay. It's Friday night. My son is at his dad's. I have NO yardwork to do tomorrow. And my favorite band is playing at the beach. Now, it's a bar that I am not that crazy about - I've not been in there in years, but I LOVE this band. And it is so rare that they are playing on this side of the water (usually they are playing on the other side of the tunnel - too far for me). My girlfriend is at home playing on the computer and cleaning house. I tried to talk her into going with me, and no go. But the hell with it, I'ma going anyway.
I guess I'm gonna be a lone woman out tonight. And by the posts in this forum lately, probably dubbed a cougar! Oh the indignity of it all.
Listening to U2, can't sleep. Gonna go see them at the Rose Bowl at the end of October. Supposedly it's gonna be the biggest concert that the Rose bowl has ever had. I hate crowds, we'll have to see how it goes.

Speaking of which, U2 is going to be hosting Saturday Night Live today, with Megan Fox.
Well anyway, I don't know who Megan Fox is, although I heard she's popular. And no, I hardly watch much t.v. Somedays I don't watch t.v. at all.
If I was younger, I would say Megan Fox is a bee-awtch. But I am older, don't know how to spell bee-otch, and not even sure if they sat be-awch
anymore, so I'll just say she's a ****. A young one with a figure to envy, but a **** just the same!
Chessie - were you a lone cougar last night? I think I'm the same age as you - or close at least. I went out last night to see a friend play in a very
good band - just got a contract & I bet they will be big very soon. (Haven't we heard that before!) I started out with 2 other friends & felt totally
fine even though all 3 of us were old enough to be mothers to 80% of the crowd there. Then my friends left one by one until it was me on my own.
I couldn't skip because my friend's band hadn't even gone on yet, so I stuck it out & had a lot of fun. And found out that twenty-something year old
guys on X dancing like pogo sticks aren't really paying attention to me or judging that I might be "cougarish". (ICK!!! geez that sucks -
I just want to get out - not score with some idiot who doesn't have a clue how to ....well...do squat!!)
