i am just curious i have never got a girl pregnant before or slept with a child's mother . I often think sex is rather rubbish even months or years after giving what happens to the vagina? does it return to normal? Do both men and women still enjoy it as before?
Well, it takes about 6 weeks to 3 months for vagina to completely heal after giving birth.
It's a good idea for a woman to do Kegel exercises on a regular basis prior and after giving birth.
After one child with consistent Kegels, vagina usually goes back to it's original state. Sex is just enjoyable for a woman and a man. Well, at least I'm talking from personal experience.
Off to see what others had to say.

Then she gives birth. You're cut off for six weeks, but that's okay because baby is going to wear you out to the point where sex is pretty far from your mind (you *ARE* taking your half of the feedings, aren't you?)
What? In whose world? I was back to pleasuring my husband (when I was married) within three days after giving birth. Yeah, no conventional sex for a while but there's a lot of ways to give a guy some assistance...
