The psychology behind it is very true, but the purpose for which some of those PUA use it is what creeps me.
Of course people like confident, funny people! That goes without saying. There has to be better and deeper ways to uncover your inner charismatic though than buying into all these techniques and tricks. It just seems so mechanical and insincere.

Me neither I don't really see that as much of an option for myself at that low of an age, but I don't rule it out.
When I was 22 I dated guy who was almost 40. I usually date guys older than me because they usually know what they want and know how they are going to get it, they have life experience, they are respectful, and I can have good/interesting conversations with them. I have had a few older guys that have wanted to marry me. It wont be impossible for you to find younger women in their 20s who would be comfortable with your age and arent into getting hammered and partying all the time that have some goals in life.
That guy actually seems pretty interesting and normal. the pick up artists that wear goofy props, prepare scripts and all that other crap make me roll my eyes. seems like the guy in the vid agrees with me on that.

2) Get in shape, exercise etc.
3) Get out and make friends, mingle, join clubs etc.
Lastly, you seem to want to be dating 20-something hotties. Buddy, this is a recipe for disaster and you know it. What's wrong with an attractive gal 30-35 that followed the same carreer\relationship track as you? They are definitely out there.
Based on your comments, you sound like you aren't ready for a relationship and if you can handle it should just date around. (Realize that you may run into gals that play you for cash in that situation.)

It's true. I've heard the "EWWWW!" a lot from my daughter (21) and her friends (20-26). They laugh about all the "old farts" that hit on them in the clubs. To quote her, "There may be the odd girl my age looking to date "grandpa", but from what I've seen it's the gold-diggers."
