What day of the week is it? I work five nights a week, so unless it's a weekend, I'm not even available.
I have been alone on V-day, not a big deal to me I take advantage of the situation. Candle-lit bubble bath, then it's just me, my fuzzy robe, the couch and a good book--with no interruptions ahhh bliss! Even if my SO is home on V-Day we don't really make a big deal of it I just don't get my uninterrupted book time!
I LOVE Valentine's Day. The red roses, the balloons, the cards, the chocolates, the gifts, the little "I love yous', the little/or big teddy bears, the end of the evening with your SO...sigh. Its all very beautiful. This year, since I still don't have a boyfriend, I will be buying some trinkets for my mom. She hardly ever gets anything for V-Day. I personally don't need any of the stuff I mentioned. What I like the most though, is watching how happy other people get, when they receive those things.
Oh, and I just found out that June 24th is National Tequila Day. Maybe i'll celebrate that day , instead of V-Day. He-he.
Ok, ok.......but if there were that many people like you, there wouldn't even be a Valentine's Day. And, by the way, I don't mind at all spending money on roses, nice card and dinner out with my wife......she deserves it! And the card that I always get from her is beautiful! Thank God there are still romantic people, like us, in our society!!

If it weren't for the cold weather I would have hated this month enough, seeing that I have never had anyone AND I am always alone on Valentine's Day makes me hate it more.
