That's exactly what the Constitution of the Iroquois Confederacy and the Constitution of the United States of America and our founding fathers were doing. It is the religious organizations and those who use it for their own gain that have tried to undermine the original intent and that is why this country is not found on any religious principles of any kind.

They'll just respond be selectivity cherry picking a quote from our founding fathers to make their point, not realizing you can use that same tactic to make the case for no religion if you wanted to. This country isn't ran by what so and so said a few centuries ago; it's ran by the Constitution. It burns Christians up their God isn't specifically mentioned in any documents that matter.

You'd better get ready for a lot of "denial, denial, denial" in this thread.
Why repeat the process?

Send that to the Supreme Court and Congress.

From wiki, though I don't trust wiki generally. But for starters like you, MC, it's much better than statistics learnt off socialist toons

Church of Norway - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

79.2% [104] of Norwegians were members of the state Church of Norway as of January 1, 2010, a 1% drop compared to the year before and down nearly 3% from two years earlier. However, only 20% of Norwegians say that religion occupies an important place in their life (according to a recent Gallup poll), making Norway one of the most secular countries of the world (only in Estonia, Sweden and Denmark were the percentage of people who considered religion to be important lower).[108] In the early 1990s, it was estimated that between 4.7% – 5.3% of Norwegians attended church on a weekly basis.[109] This low figure dropped to a mere 2 % by 2008, putting Norway at the bottom of the church attendance rankings in Europe [110] In 2010, Norway statistics reported still a further drop in church attendance during 2009[111][112] According to the Eurobarometer Poll 2005, at that time 32% of Norwegian citizens responded that "they believe there is a god".[113] This aligns with another study by Gustafsson and Pettersson (2002), according to which 72% of Norwegians do not believe in a 'personal God.'[114]

So, here is a paragraph filled with contradictions. First line speaks of 72% of Norwegians as registered members of the church, then there are a few half-ar$ed polls predating this number, with numbers which appeal to the pollheads

But it's still an amazing deflection. If atheism were the zing thing and the most peaceful thing known to man, why did the USSR and the Chinese mass murder millions? Considering that this is the behaviour allegedly associated with the evil catholic churches and their inquisition

This nation is founded on laws telling the government what it can and can not do.
The protection of individual liberty of property, religion and life against governments and other groups or peoples.

Any laws outside of that were created by people who ignored the constitution and for moral and special economic reasons use GOD and power over peoples individual rights to create tyranny.
It just so happens that murder is a law and against the law.
But it is a law because in the constitution your life was to be protected and justice is served when other person takes your life, and property and you go to jail. The concept of murder and justice came long before America and the constitution.

Christians believe in this concept because some people where Christians the country was founding on these religious concepts. Currently they do this in hopes of controlling societies social norms and think morality comes from the government force who has the guns, jail cells and power to control, regulate individual choices and freedoms.

Those who created the constitution and mostly the declaration of independence knew how big government, empires, and dictators through out history for religious or economic reasons destroyed all individual liberties and rights for all men. Creating the constitution protects you from the crazy moral police and is suppose to protect us from the socialist, economic fascist of this country who seek to control your incomes and regulate you from cradle to grave.

This America is run by religious lobbyist and socialist extreme groups none of which have anything to do with the constitution and or even the laws that make us FREE!
Liberty was long lost when people think morality comes from a government power and economic freedom comes in the form of a income tax, social security and welfare.

I'll ask you the same thing I've already asked here.

Show us where in the Constitution (you know, the law of this land) where any mention of Christianity is made.

Since I actually did bother to brush up a bit and read over it again (which I doubt you did), I did find one tidbit of information you may find intresting.

Article VI

Clause 3.

and I quote....

Quote:
The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States
It's a secular document. Weep and moan all you want to about it; that won't change any facts.

Unless, of course, we're to believe the founding fathers of this country really did intend for it to be based on Christianity, but were too stupid and incompetent to make it clear in the Constitution.

Anyhow, I shall patiently await for you to show us all where it says otherwise. I'm afraid not enough cherry picking or pious interpretation skills will be enough for you to make it work, though
