I am tired of believers being blamed for these gay kids committing suicide. WE never said it was acceptable to harass or intimidate these kids and you know it. What the homosexual activists are really after is to force kids in schools to accept this lifestyle the Lord calls abomination and they hope to recruit our children. What is sad is they exploit the tragic death of these kids to do it. We will speak out against sin. I do believe it is important to maintain the social stigma against the homosexual lifestyle. If we dont do that and they feel "accepted". they are less likely to repent. The Lord Jesus commanded us to hate the sin but love the sinner.

Just what we needed, yet another homophobic gay thread.

After coming into contact with a religious man I always feel I must wash my hands.

Homophobic? No, I love the gays because I tell them they are in sin in the hope they might repent

They are not in sin...Sin is an imaginary religious construct and gays are no different that you or I except that they were born with an attraction to the same sex...The reason there is a higher incidence of suicide I lay at the door of the religious, in particular in the US they are discriminated against by mainly fundamentalist Christians....Over history Christians have exercised their bigotry against anyone and everyone who they considered different.

Thanks at least for showing clearly how 'Love' in Christian terms becomes turned upside down just as 'Truth' and 'Foolishness' come to mean the opposite.

^^^Your Jesus-God/man also commanded you to....

Judge not, that ye be not judged.
For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
Matthew 7 (1-6)

And I'm tired of that condescending "believers" business, just because I happen not to be a Christian. From my perspective, you're the one who's an "unbeliever." So it looks like we're all tired of something.
