Viz lives under the poverty level by choice. His wife does not work, by choice. Viz has a good gig. Viz is the only one in the family with a good gig. His choice is to make his children poor, and less well nourished.
He works for an organization more than content to have their employees work below the poverty level. That is the real sin here.
The rest is a bit of selfish. Viz does not see himself as being taken advantage of. He sees it as his calling and forgets his children are below the poverty level which makes them vulnerable. His children, living in poverty, pay the price of his choices. These little girls must submit to his authority. God tells him so.
I actually keep his children in my heart and thoughts. I hope they survive his choices.
So do I.
I've seen the horrible effects of kids having to live in poverty because of their parents' religious beliefs. The children pay the price for the parents' extremism.
Plain ol' poverty is bad enough....CHOOSING IT when innocent kids are involved....SMH.
Sure there is. The Bible is filled with prophecies, some hundreds of years in advance that came absolutely true. Do you really think it's a mere coincidence that the tiny nation of Israel would become the focal point of world politics just like the Bible predicted?
The Bible was written by 40 authors over three continents over a period of a thousand years yet the message and tone is consistent. Explain that one. That would be like taking comparing a writer from the Roman era to a New York Times best selling author and expecting their writing style to match and align.

Yes. Everyone deserved to be executed. Even children. They were stained from birth with the sin of Adam.
Keep in mind that God is sovereign and he can do what he wants with his creation. It's sinful and evil when human beings murder, but God can do what he wants.
